I teach learners from A1 to C1. My main focus is on learners around late A2, B1 and above who want to put their German into practice for work, university, exams or everyday life. Beginners are welcome too: we adapt the lessons to your starting point.

We can focus on everyday conversations, job interviews, German at work, university studies or exam preparation. For exams such as telc, Goethe-Zertifikat and TestDaF, tell me the exact exam and level so we can plan relevant practice. We build a clear structure around your goals.

Booking and payment are handled through italki. Visit my profile to see the current lesson options, prices and available times. You can book a trial lesson first to find out whether my teaching style suits you.

The trial lesson lasts 30 minutes and costs US$5 on italki. We get to know each other, talk about your current German and clarify your goals. We also discuss how future lessons can help you and try a little speaking practice.

Your lessons are booked through italki. For the video call, I mainly use Zoom because its whiteboard, screen sharing and audio features work well for interactive lessons. We confirm the meeting details before the lesson.

Depending on your goals, we combine free conversation, prepared exercises, exam tasks or interview practice. We use a whiteboard to collect ideas, explain language and work through tasks together. We can also use digital coursebooks. You are welcome to bring your own topics and materials.

Lessons are mainly in German, with the pace and language adapted to your level. If something is difficult to understand, I can explain it in English before we return to German. You do not need to understand every word perfectly to take part.

You get your own shared whiteboard, which you can access outside our lessons. It keeps our notes, explanations and exercises together in one place. You can also add questions or upload materials you would like us to work on next time.

Yes. Homework can be added to your whiteboard so you can practise between lessons. You receive feedback during our work together, and we can discuss follow-up questions after the lesson when needed. Our plan stays focused on your goals and what you need to improve.

Cancellations and rescheduling follow italki’s current lesson policy. Please manage changes through your italki booking as early as possible and message me if you need help. Check the conditions shown on italki before confirming a change; late changes may be restricted.
